Eucalyptus builds telehealth clinics, making it easy to access personalised, effective treatments for a number of conditions. We give patients easy access to doctors, personalised evidence-based treatment plans, and the in-depth information they need to achieve their goals.

Our Weight Management program utilises evidence-based approaches to weight loss that are achievable, sustainable and safe. Doctors are supported by a team of medical support specialists, dietitians and health coaches to ensure that patients have constant, accessible support and advice.So how does it work?
We've built a technology platform to deliver healthcare to patients with a level of care and depth that brings healthcare into the internet age. We provide an easy to use interface for patients to get help, for doctors to manage their consultations via telehealth, and for pharmacies to fulfil any prescriptions, streamlining the user experience from the patient's and doctor's points of view.
This is done by automating the collection of most of the information a doctor needs in a consultation, providing this information in an easy format to doctors so they can make a decision on treatment, and making sure their time is used effectively.
We then ensure that patients are given a high quality, high-touch model of care that enables close support, engagement and compliance. Patients are supported by an extensive Medical Support team, dieticians and health coaches, in addition to regular doctor check-ins. We also provide the capacity to promote preventive care and perform pathology testing.
On top of this, we have a world-class global medical advisory board, responsible for providing best-in-class specialist advice into our global medical and clinical operations.
About The Role
We're looking for our own industry expert on medication distribution in Germany to act as an Advisor. We are seeking someone to help us navigate the dynamic pharmaceutical wholesale landscape in Germany. The role requires a strong prior experience working with pharmaceutical wholesalers and/or manufactures to lead us to commercial opportunities to help us build a long-term sustainable supply chain in Germany that enables an overall German market proposition that is valued by German patients.
We are a young company with experimentation as part of our DNA. We frequently iterate to conviction with a strong hypotheses-led culture. The whole company sets quarterly OKRs and has the ability to rapidly shift gears in response to new insights, or changing market conditions in order to deliver on our company-wide objectives. It is critical for us that you share these philosophies, are adaptable to change and comfortable with solving for ambiguity.
We don’t just talk about customer-centricity, “patient first” is a core company value and we work closely across our marketing, product, medical support and clinical teams to deliver high-quality health care to our patients. In 2023, we have ambitious plans to expand our operations further in Europe with the core objective of leveling up our core healthcare infrastructure, investing in greater personalisation and delivering higher touch services and support for sustained health outcomes.

What you’ll do (Responsibilities):
- Provide advisory guidance on how to best navigate the pharmaceutical wholesaler sector - make introductions to key players, present commercial opportunities and advise on strategies for improving our relationships with wholesalers in the industry
- Share knowledge on nuances of the market - medication stock flow, wholesaler relationship, stock allocation, regulation, among other topics
- Sit in our global board of Advisors - share knowledge and best practices across geographies (Australia, UK, Germany, Japan, more to come)
About You (Skills and Experiences)
- 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical wholesalers, pharmaceuticals manufactures and/or roles related to medication distribution in Germany
- Communicate fluently in German and English
- Strong understanding of German pharmaceutical distribution (knowledge on other European markets is a plus) - eg.: deep understanding of key players, nuances of the market, regulation, customer prioritisation, among others
- Extensive network of key contacts within the pharmaceutical wholesaler sector to facilitate business development and partnerships
- Strong track record of commercial deals
