About The Role

The Solution Engineer is at the cross-section of business and engineering and will work closely with Product and Sales to come up with creative solutions to support the needs of our clients. You will be responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture to prospects and customers, building trust and confidence in Ethos’ technology.

This is a unique, “ground zero”, opportunity at the company as we scale our business with large enterprise partners. The candidate in this role will be seen as a company-wide subject matter expert and will have tremendous influence over the success of our business

What You’ll be Doing

  • Understand customer goals and challenges and map those back to the product portfolio.
  • Present Ethos product & technology infrastructure to prospect clients.
  • Participate in product, sales planning sessions, attend technical training to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position.
  • Provide tangible feedback to the product team on customer needs.
  • Support the sales team in prioritizing clients based on technology roadmap. Help refine, focus and optimize our sales playbook.
  • Come up with creative solutions to unblock customers. Ensure onboarded Partner’s continued success, by diving in to help resolve challenges.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in an engineering discipline or similar technical field.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills. This is a customer facing role and you should be comfortable and excited to get on calls with customers with the sales team.
  • Strong understanding of technical architecture, preferably web service APIs.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
  • Experience in creating, running and debugging SQL queries.
  • Some occasional travel to clients may be expected.
