About The Role

This role will be hyper-focused on agent acquisition with the goal to build the largest network of independent life insurance agents in the industry.  Every dollar we spend has an objective that is tested and measured. Success is aligning media strategy with overall marketing strategy, showing ROI, and scaling volume across products. Our test-and-learn methodology requires mindful planning, set up, execution and analysis. This position is for candidates who desire to contribute straight to the Ethos bottom line and be recognized for it.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will oversee all agent acquisition efforts: :  Ownership and oversight of this role will include but is not limited to 3rd party list sourcing and optimization, direct mail, industry advertising partnerships, Meta, LinkedIn, and SEM. You will work closely with our product, partnerships, and engineering teams and be responsible for our core business metrics.
  • Campaign Management: You will own and be responsible for our ad accounts from top to bottom. This includes agency management, campaign structure, targeting, ad placement, direct response creative direction, and reporting performance out to the broader team.
  • Strategic Thinking: Use your intelligence, experience, creativity, and organizational skills to solve problems with minimum input from others.
  • Synthesize Learning Across Tools: Manage third-party ad platforms and ad networks alongside internal tools. Comfortable working with internal BI tools and advanced Excel skills.
  • Flexibility: Focus on long and short term objectives and be ready to prioritize when ad-hoc opportunities arise.
  • We’re a growth-stage company: you will ideate, conceptualize, plan, prioritize, and execute on growth experiments. If rolling up your sleeves to execute gives you pause, this is not the right role for you.
  • Detail Oriented & Strong Project Management Skills: Facilitate internal project requests and work with internal teams across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track-record scaling B2B marketing, in high growth B2B targeting SMB or high ticket B2C. 
  •  4+ years experience in user acquisition marketing
  • Excited by the chance to both develop a marketing strategy and hands on channel optimization.
  • Advanced MS Excel and ability to work effectively with business intelligence tools (ex. Tableau) 
  • Thorough working knowledge of online advertising and demand generation strategies
  • Experience running Meta in-house at scale required. LinkedIn, and SEM experience preferred.
  • Have a rigorous approach to testing, iterating and implementing learnings
  • Excellent analysis skills, ability to research and analyze various different types and large amounts of data
  • Bachelor degree in an analytical field (math, econ, engineering, etc.)
