Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and support for tax calculation projects, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and standards.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of tax computation tools and systems.
- Analyze tax data and create reports for forecasting and trend analysis.
- Stay updated on federal tax legislation and adjust systems and reports accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
- Proven experience in tax preparation, tax analysis, and use of tax software.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Minimum Eligibility:
- Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
