Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee program management to support Agile and project development teams, ensuring executive briefing support, integration planning, and decision management.
  • Develop lessons learned, improvement plans, and best practices, applying Agile methodologies for timely delivery.
  • Utilize knowledge of IRS Enterprise Lifecycle Management and Agile Delivery Path to meet scheduled deliverables.
  • Provide executive level presentation and written communication skills to support IRS IT Program governance, management, and reporting.
  • Organize and lead risk identification sessions, develop mitigations and contingency plans, and provide organization tracking and decision administration to support scope and change management of projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in business, Computer Science, information systems engineering, or a related field. Master's Degree optional.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, Linux; and tools such as IBM Jazz, Atlassian Jira, Microsoft SharePoint.
  • PMI-PMP and Scrum certifications preferred.

Minimum Eligibility:

  • Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
  • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
