Source, interview, and select applicants for technical positions
Works closely with hiring managers to understand position needs
Review and understand technical job requirement
Create detailed job descriptions
Match applicants to job openings.
List job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career web sites, and other possible channels.
Call applicants and perform phone screens.
Instruct applicants on the nature of the job and whom they will be speaking with during the interview.
Facilitate meeting between hiring manager and applicant.
Create portfolio of possible candidates for hiring manager.
Inform candidate of company's decision.
A minimum of 3 years previous successful recruiting experience, preferably working with IT professionals.
Basic knowledge of IT terminology and concepts, and the willingness to continue to learn about the latest technologies
Experience with Internet sourcing techniques and conducting Boolean searches.
Recruiting experience utilizing social media
Ability to utilize recruiting tools such as applicant tracking system (Green House) and LinkedIn Recruiting
Great communication skills both in talking with others professionally (on the phone and in person), and in basic business writing such as letters, job postings, marketing materials, etc.
