We have a need for a Client Logistics Manager (Warehouse Manager) and you must be amazing at what you do. Our culture is family which is one of the reasons why the average person has been with us for 20 years. In this role you will be in charge of the daily operations of our Shipping and Receiving department. This includes management over our material handling and delivery equipment. The Warehouse Manager's interplay with our vendors will help fulfill our company's commitment to our customers. Ultimately, this position is the focal point for meeting our customer delivery needs in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

 

Expectations And Goals

  • Uphold the company core values in all dealings with vendors, customers
  • and the sales force.
  • Assume personal accountability for balancing the demands of delivering to the customer with our company policies for cost containment.
  • Strive to exceed the company goals as to profit production and contain the costs of the warehouse operations department.
  • Monitor the company inventory for turnover, taking special charge of customer and vendor returns (merchandise controls), and quality of product being received and delivered.
  • Insure that all deliveries are made to our customers in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • Ensures the timely receipt of inbound shipments and proper assignment to correct bin locations.

Management Duties And Responsibilities

  • Ultimately be responsible for all receiving, delivery and inventory functions.
  • Insure that all incoming and outgoing products meet or exceed company specifications and that they are handled and stored properly.
  • Insure correct order pulling and timely delivery of product to our customers.
  • Determine and coordinate the most efficient and cost-effective manner to ship product to customers and divisions on our trucks, common carriers. UPS, Fed Ex, etc.
  • Be responsible for the timely disposition of all merchandise controls and return goods authorization items with the purchasing department and vendors.
  • Responsible for controlling the company inventory, making sure that the inventory is warehoused properly and rotated on a regular basis.
  • Responsible for the effective routing of all deliveries.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documentation.
  • Verification of inbound/outbound paperwork

  • A strong team player.
  • Computer skills - Word, Excel, MS Office.
  • Related work experience in warehouse distribution
