We're seeking a diligent IT Manager to serve as the cornerstone of our IT operations in Malta. With this role, you'll be the key liaison, coordinating with larger IT teams across our organization, and ensuring all IT strategy aligns with our business goals. Even though you won't be leading an in-house IT team, your knowledge and experience will be indispensable for our operation.
Primary responsibilities include ensuring strict adherence to local ICT guidelines and creating a framework that is compliant with local regulations. Your crucial role will have you on the front lines of all IT-related processes and decisions.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives
- Serve as the crucial link between local operations and group-wise IT teams
- Manage IT vendor relationships and contracts at a local level
- Monitor strict compliance with local ICT regulations
- Craft an ICT framework
- Oversee and guide IT projects to ensure timely delivery and impactful results
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU:
- More than 3 years of experience working with internal infrastructure and services
- In-depth knowledge of local ICT regulations and compliance
- The ability to juggle multiple initiatives and excellent project management skills
