The Desk Monitoring Engineer for our high-critical system plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability and performance of our mission-critical infrastructure. This role requires a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing abnormalities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Implementing monitoring solutions for real-time metrics.
  • Developing alerting systems to identify and respond to issues.
  • Continuously monitor system performance, logs, and alerts to identify anomalies or deviations from established baselines.
  • Analyze and diagnose root causes of abnormal behavior, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand the impact on operations.
  • Documenting shiny new procedures, troubleshooting scenarios and workarounds.
  • Act as the first point of contact for incidents and escalate appropriately based on severity levels and established protocols.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams, including development, operations, and network, to resolve incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
