We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Support Engineer. In Eqvilent you are going to find a wonderful team, and you will be the first person they contact to find help and overcome various obstacles.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Timely responses to user requests and events from monitoring systems.
  • Problem qualification and resolution.
  • Execution of regular operational tasks.
  • Close collaboration with other units of the infrastructure team and the product team.
  • Proactive analysis of issues related to infrastructure services and offering suggestions for improvements.

What We Look For In You:

  • Minimum 2 years of production experience with Ubuntu or Debian.
  • Practical knowledge of Linux performance monitoring and tuning utilities and commands.
  • Shell scripting experience with Bash and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols.
  • Experience working with automated provisioning of Linux infrastructure and services.

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of NIS, NFS and CIFS.
  • Experience working with agile development teams and DevOps.
  • Experience with Linux integration with LDAP.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
