Equal Experts is an innovative consultancy specialising in the delivery of custom software solutions for blue-chip enterprise and public sector clients across a range of industry sectors. We work on important projects for our clients, deliver market-leading propositions across the digital, online and mobile channels, and are recognised for our leadership in the application of agile and lean delivery methods to assure delivery. We have offices in Australia, India, South Africa, the UK, the EU and the USA.
We’re looking for Data Architects with proven senior-level experience to join the Equal Experts network. Our Data Architects collaboratively define, refine, and deliver coherent and pragmatic architectural solutions, keeping in line with the client’s roadmap, blueprint and standards. They work closely with business, technology and delivery stakeholders to help them understand the business problem and to offer and measure risks and benefits of different approaches and architectures.
This role includes actively managing risk. You will also identify and suggest mitigations related to the value returned on the investment in products or services being delivered. You will give consideration to multiple aspects including client standards, delivery, scalability, security, regulation and TCO.
This role involves working in teams that use modern agile technical practices - including continuous integration and deployment and fast feedback loops - to deliver timely and pragmatic solutions, as well as helping others to do their jobs in a more effective way.

Required Skills
- Proven experience in leading data management in multiple organisations with different data landscapes.
- Experience working with organisations with data engineering and data science teams.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and trends.
- Knowledge about data security and data regulations.
- Communicate well: this is crucial within cross-functional teams, across a disparate network such as Equal Experts, and for client relationships.
- Self-motivated: someone who’s up for a challenge and keen to deliver the right thing to the client at the right time.
