What You'll Do
Epic Games is looking for a Business Operations Manager to help move Unreal Engine Ecosystem related business operations forward as part of our Strategy and Operations team. The Business Operations Manager will be primarily responsible for identifying and solving complex problems through both quantitative and qualitative analyses to distill critical business needs, as well as creating and driving efficient processes. The Business Operations Manager will work with multiple departments, including Business Development, Operations, Legal, and Finance to develop creative solutions to existing business challenges while anticipating and preventing future challenges
In this role, you will
- Support evolving GTM strategies by ensuring proper business processes, controls, and reviews are in place
- Help explain business performance through data analysis, regular reporting, and preparation of presentation materials
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across the organization in order to identify operational gaps, propose solutions, and drive projects that bridge those gaps to completion
- Help define, iterate on, and track progress against targets for various business efforts
- Act as a cross-functional liaison across various teams involved in the Unreal Engine business and provide organizational support to ensure all stakeholders are aligned with business goals
- Bring clear thinking and excellent problem-solving skills to a range of other business challenges that may arise
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of professional experience, preferably including time in both a consulting firm or investment bank, and an in-house operations role
- Experience with and understanding of technology
- Proven record of high performance in a fluid, fast-paced, and demanding environment
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to effectively spot issues and create clear plans for resolution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Significant, relatable industry experience in a project management role
