COMMUNICATIONS
What We Do
The Epic Communications team advances the company’s narrative and represents Epic products and the company vision to external and internal audiences globally. We create positive relationships and engagement strategies with a wide range of audiences, including media, investors, influencers, and policymakers.
What You'll Do
Epic is looking for an experienced communications professional to join our corporate communications team. In this role you will lead global public affairs campaigns around key regulatory and public policy topics that impact the video game and entertainment industry. You will partner closely with the public policy team to build global programs for press and policymakers around the world.
In this role, you will
- Lead strategy and execution of public affairs campaigns globally in partnership with the public policy team
- Create proactive and reactive communications strategies on priority policy, regulatory and legal developments
- Support financial and M&A communications efforts
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop proactive storytelling opportunities globally around Epic’s business, products and technology
- Educate external stakeholders including third parties and media about Epic’s public policy and regulatory priorities
- Establish and maintain relationships with journalists globally including technology, business and policy media on behalf of Epic
- Support crisis communications and rapid response efforts
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of of experience in communications or public relations, preferably a mix of in-house and agency and/or political organizations
- Experience building and executing upon global communications and public affairs programs from the ground up
- Experience driving communications and advocacy strategies around complex public policy issues
- Experience managing global agency partners
- Someone who moves fast, is focused on delivering results, and has a track record of working well across a diverse group of internal and external partners
- A succinct and creative writer
- A proactive problem solver, with strong instincts for when to escalate issues
- A team player who’s collaborative, supportive, and celebrates others’ wins
- Communications skills, written and verbal, are stellar
This role is open to multiple locations on the East Coast of America (including NYC).

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
