ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR
What You'll Do
Epic Games is looking for an experienced mobile games business development and partnerships lead for the Epic Games Store to source and manage mobile game development partners and opportunities. We’re looking for individuals who excel in a distributed organization, have superb communication abilities, and are comfortable managing the schedules and complexities of launching game content onto an evolving storefront.
In this role, you will
- Lead engagement of mobile game partners for the Epic Games Store with the goal of sourcing and securing great game content for the launch of the Epic Games Store on mobile devices and beyond
- Own relationships end-to end for high-profile mobile publishers and developer partners
- Evangelize Epic Games store to the broader mobile games industry via, for example, live office visits, trade shows, and conferences
- Work closely with Epic Games Store Release Management and Marketing teams to ensure timely release of games and overall service quality
- Stay up-to-date on mobile competitor products and developer feedback to assess competitive advantage of the Epic Games store
What we're looking for
- 6+ years experience in mobile games business development working directly with mobile game companies, platforms, carriers and/or mobile storefronts
- Proven network and connections across the game industry
- Intimate knowledge of competitive video game developer marketplaces
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with a variety of positions and functions with external partners and within Epic Games
- Experience negotiating deal terms with external organizations, navigating challenges and working with internal teams and stakeholders to see deals through to closure and ultimately completion of the partnership
- Team player who can collaborate with multiple stakeholders to arrive at the best solution while operating in a fast-paced environment
