Epic Games Online Game Services QA Team is looking for a smart, creative QA SDET Intern to join them for Spring 2023. Our Interns are given challenging projects over the work term, and are provided with a meaningful experience with high expectations for performance. If you want to build something Epic, this is the opportunity for you!
This team is responsible for creating and maintaining automation test suites for core online services integrated with Unreal Engine, Fortnite and other games across multiple platforms. You will gain valuable knowledge in working with API’s and how they interact with game engines. You will work directly with the developers and QA professionals responsible for the backbone of what makes games online.
In This Role You Will:
- Working in C++ to build test automation for our integration suite that tests the services used in online games
- Game Sessions
- And many more
- Possible work in C# & C++ to build out automation using Gauntlet for our API audits for Fortnite
- Possible work in UE5 Online Plugins
- Work with automation against current generation game platforms
What We’re Looking For:
- Self motivated and passionate about games and programming
- Someone who has completed course work and has a firm understanding of C++
- Strong communication skills and ability to confidently collaborate with senior members on technical topics and features
- Familiarity with a version control system
- Familiarity with an IDE preferably Visual Studio
