About the role

Are you passionate about creating high-impact events that drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue? As a Senior Event Marketing Manager at Envoy, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of field marketing and tradeshows across the U.S. and U.K. This role goes beyond logistics—you’ll develop scalable event programs that fuel pipeline growth, enhance sales enablement, and elevate Envoy’s presence in key markets. You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure every event delivers a measurable business impact.

With a focus on operational excellence and data-driven decision-making, you’ll own event execution, optimize ROI, and build scalable processes for ongoing success. You’ll collaborate closely with another field marketing manager and internal and external stakeholders, bringing creativity and strategic thinking to every initiative. This is a high-visibility role in a fast-paced environment where you’ll shape the future of Envoy’s event marketing and field programs.

This is a hybrid position that requires 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ. 

You will

  • Lead Event Strategy & Execution: Develop and manage a comprehensive field event marketing strategy and regional field marketing initiatives across the U.S. and U.K. Oversee planning, logistics, vendor management, budgeting, and execution.
  • Optimize Operations & Drive Efficiency: Streamline event workflows by managing calendars, project tools, and documentation. Continuously refine processes to improve execution, collaboration, and scalability.
  • Scale Field Marketing & Maximize ROI: Build and execute a scalable field marketing strategy, launching regional events and ABM-driven programs. Own budget allocation and reporting to optimize impact.
  • Drive Pipeline Growth & Measure Impact: Align event strategy with business goals to generate high-quality leads and accelerate pipeline progression. Track event performance, linking engagement to revenue outcomes with data-driven insights.
  • Enable Sales & Cross-Functional Success: Partner with sales, BDR, and customer success teams to develop engagement strategies, pre-event training, and structured follow-up playbooks. Ensure timely Salesforce lead processing and collaboration with marketing and revenue teams.
  • Enhance Brand & Drive Innovation: Leverage customer advocacy, partner collaboration, and sponsorships to elevate brand presence. Identify new event opportunities, refine best practices, and improve event marketing impact.
  • Travel Requirements: This role requires up to 40% travel for event execution.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 90 Days: Develop a strategic field marketing plan, establish key workflows, and align with sales and marketing teams. Execute high-impact events, improve ROI tracking, and implement scalable lead capture and follow-up processes.
  • Ongoing Impact: Drive measurable pipeline growth through events, continuously optimize strategy based on data, and expand field marketing initiatives.

You are

  • An Experienced Event Marketer: You have 8+ years in event or field marketing, with at least 5+ years in B2B technology or SaaS. You have deep expertise in trade shows, hosting events, and field marketing targeting executive and technical audiences.
  • Strategic & Data-Driven: You make data-based decisions, continuously analyzing event performance, optimizing marketing investments, and aligning event strategy with sales and revenue goals.
  • An Operational Expert: You excel at managing event logistics end-to-end—including vendor negotiations, budgeting, staffing, production, and on-site execution—while refining processes for efficiency and scale.
  • A Cross-Functional Collaborator & Influencer: You build strong relationships with sales, revenue operations, marketing, product, and executive teams, influencing stakeholders and ensuring alignment on event strategy.
  • Tech-Savvy & Process-Oriented: You are proficient in Salesforce, Marketo, and marketing automation platforms, using technology to streamline event workflows, track leads, and support sales enablement.
  • Customer & Partner-Focused: You know how to engage customers, partners, and brand advocates to maximize event impact. You have experience managing sponsorships and co-marketing initiatives to elevate brand presence.

Compensation description 

Envoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, our expected cash compensation for this role is $160,650- $184,000 (Annually). Final offers may vary within the range provided based on experience, expertise, and other factors.
