About the Role

Envoy is on the lookout for a highly skilled and proactive IT Operations Lead to spearhead our Workplace Technologies team. This role demands a profound understanding of Apple devices and services, coupled with a robust foundation in scripting, automation, and a "SaaS First" approach. The IT Operations Lead will be instrumental in driving daily IT operations, enhancing employee lifecycle experiences, AV management, and monitoring system health to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across the board.

This is a hybrid position that requires at least 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ.

You Will

  • Manage Operations: Oversee IT operations, ensuring requests are swiftly triaged, prioritized, and resolved. This includes direct management of a mixed OS environment. hardware, software, network, and internet connectivity issues.
  • Provide Exceptional Support: Be the primary escalation point for IT-related issues, offering prompt resolutions to ensure a seamless technology experience for all employees. This includes level 1 and 2 support, complex problem resolution, and the deployment and management of laptops and cloud services.
  • Monitor Systems: Proactively monitor IT systems to identify and rectify potential issues, maintaining optimal performance and availability.
  • Optimize Employee Lifecycle Operations: Lead IT aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring smooth transitions for all employees.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Ensure tight collaboration within the IT team and across departments to align IT operations with business objectives.

You Have  

  • Significant experience in IT operations with a special focus on customer support, system monitoring, and Apple product ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage operations queues and solve complex technical problems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the prowess to demystify complex IT concepts for various audiences.
  • A deep understanding of IT best practices, proactive system management, and familiarity with “SaaS First” tech stacks.
  • The agility to swiftly adapt to changing priorities and effectively manage multiple tasks.

Nice to Have 

  • Expertise in specific technologies or platforms, particularly within Apple's ecosystem.
  • Advanced administration skills in applications like Atlassian, G Suite, Office 365, Dropbox, Okta, Zoom, and Slack.

Compensation description 

Envoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, our expected cash compensation for this role is $111K- $126K (Annually). Final offers may vary within the range provided based on experience, expertise, and other factors.
