Enviva is seeking a dynamic and motivated Executive Assistant to support our CFO. The successful candidate will be energetic and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment that is mission and results driven. The EA will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written & verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
Act as a gatekeeper; consistently demonstrate solid understanding of priorities and proactively manage calendars across multiple time-zones.
Anticipate needs and proactively bring together resources to support and address issues in all executive offices.
Manage incoming correspondence and prioritize competing requests; filter through requests independently and follow through on behalf of executives, as needed.
Handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
Coordinate department and external stakeholder meetings, both domestically and internationally.
Coordinate highly detailed and complex travel itineraries.
Coordinate and assist in logistics for quarterly earnings call.
Effectively manage relationships in a cordial and professional manner and consistently look for new ideas to further develop strong working relationships.
Manage executives’ expenses.
Assist with creation of presentations and content development, as needed.
Complete ad hoc administrative requests in a timely and thorough manner.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
5 years of administrative experience with at least 3 years as an Executive Assistant to a C-level executive.
Previous finance experience or exposure preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team, and assume additional responsibilities as required.
Maintain strict confidentiality standards.
Exceptionally detail-oriented and well organized.
Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to reach decisions independently.
Possess strong oral and written communication skills and exceptional computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
