In pursuit of this goal, you will become an expert on the customer needs you’re solving, identify opportunities to improve the product, and lead your team through product development.

We’re growing rapidly and the data product team is leading the charge by researching and executing on a number of initiatives. Some examples include:

  • A state-of-art ML and NLP based entity resolution algorithm that resolves records on the same business across multiple different data sources.
  • A collection of more than 50 public and private data sources, including exclusive access to transactions from 40-50% of United States credit and debit cards (anonymized).

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Identify, design and execute on data attributes that help customers understand the financial health of a business based on a number of different data sources
  • Gather product insights via data analysis and research, including interviewing existing and potential customers
  • Understand and research market trends and competition
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for development by data science and engineering teams
  • Partner with the engineers and data scientists to problem solve through problem decomposition and solution brainstorming, execute on time and QA before a release.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales on the release of products.

What makes this job interesting:

  • Timing: you will be joining Enigma right as we’ve unlocked product-market fit in the financial risk space, and you will be a significant driving force as we scale our product in this market and expand our product offering to new markets
  • Ownership: you will have the opportunity to grow and lead a product end-to-end, from ideation to delivery
  • Impact: you will make a major impact from day one

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Bring 1-3 years of professional experience in product management, data science or engineering
  • Have basic capability of manipulating data using Python or SQL
  • Demonstrate effective cross-functional team management and communication skills while working with customers and our internal teams
  • Prioritize working on things that drive the most impact rather than trying to get everything done

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with building data products
  • Degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
  • Professional experience as a product manager leading enterprise software products
  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers
