About the Role

The Operations and Market Data Associate role will encompass functions across both Operations and Market Data. As part of a global Trading and Operations team, the associate will support trade flow, reconciliation, security master, data warehouse, corporate actions, market data, and also back up trading coverage as needed. In addition, as part of a wider Market Data Compliance team that includes Legal/Compliance, Operations, IT and Development, this person will be responsible for market data coverage, ensuring that the firm fulfills its contractual market data obligations. The associate will use best practice guidelines to oversee the firm’s entitlement and reporting processes, whilst consistently reviewing policy and licensing agreements from various vendors, brokers, and exchanges. This role requires speed, accuracy and skill in the face of complexity and is ideal for a candidate with strong organizational and follow-up skills, excellent communication, and the ability to interact efficiently with all constituents spanning across technologists, counterparties, and internal teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded team player who both thrives in the moment and excels at following through over extended periods of time, learns and adapts quickly, works dynamically, is able to multi-task, and can independently see tasks and projects through to completion.
