Your Mission:
As part of the Engine team, you’ll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. Here’s what you’ll take charge of:
- Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Set ambitious revenue goals and key performance indicators while ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Initiate demand generation initiatives while working cross functionally with the marketing, account management, and account executive teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive customer retention.
- Team Development & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and empower a team of Group Sales Managers, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and implement tailored development plans to elevate team capabilities.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Leverage analytics and CRM tools to monitor sales performance, forecast trends, and identify areas for process optimization and new market opportunities.
- Use insights to drive strategy adjustments and improve overall efficiency in the sales process.
- Relationship Building & Negotiation:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations, ensuring long-term partnerships and client satisfaction.
- Represent Engine in high-stakes negotiations, industry events, and strategic meetings.
- Process Innovation:
- Identify and implement innovative sales strategies, best practices, and process improvements to keep Hotel Engine ahead in a competitive market.
- Act as a change agent, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency and customer service.
- Escalation Management:
- Serve as the final escalation point for complex client issues, ensuring swift resolution and the preservation of high service standards.
- Travel:
- Be available for occasional travel (up to 5%) to meet with key clients and attend industry events.
What You’ll Bring to Engine:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:
- Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in sales leadership with a strong track record in B2B sales, preferably within travel tech, hospitality, or related industries.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and secure strategic partnerships at an enterprise level.
- Skills: You’re a problem-solver with sales expertise, leadership skills and you thrive in fast-paced, innovative environments.
- Demonstrated success in building, leading, and scaling high-performance sales teams.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to influence cross-functional initiatives.
- Tech-Savvy
- Mindset: You’re ready to roll up your sleeves, collaborate, and deliver results that matter.
