Job Purpose/Mission 

In this highly interesting position, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to our team in Berlin along the full employee lifecycle. With your expertise you will shape and assure the highest standards of our HR processes and services. As part of our global HR team, you will work on a variety of challenging HR topics and take ownership for your own projects.

Our global team in Berlin is located in Berlin-Friedrichshain near Ostkreuz/RAW location with currently 45 well versed team players from across the globe.

Responsibilities 

  • General HR administration and support in all operational HR processes ensuring consistency with policies and local labour law.
  • Initiate employee onboarding and ensure forms, signed contracts and documentation are completed to provide a smooth and positive experience for employees joining the company.
  • Provide advice and active support to employees and managers including all human resources topics.
  • Support the end-to-end recruiting & talent management processes.
  • Create contracts, contract amendments, references and confirmations.
  • Support the local implementation of global strategies, programs, and policies.
  • Participate and execute on national and international HR projects to develop new concepts in recruiting, talent development, workforce planning, onboarding, and many other topics.
  • Assist with and coordinate local events and training sessions.
  • Ad -hoc general HR reporting and updating employee data in our HR system.
  • Management of offboarding processes and conducting exit interviews.

Knowledge and skills 

Experience: 

  • Professional experience in a comparable position.
  • Good understanding of the employee life cycle and operational HR processes.
  • Working knowledge of the German legal HR framework, works constitution act and HR best practices.
  • Enriching our team with your cross-cultural experience, understanding and sensitivity.
  • Proactive, accurate, and practice-oriented way of working.
  • Service-oriented attitude (flexible, personable, approachable)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Confidentiality with sensitive material and communication.   

Qualifications: 

  • Completed studies, ideally in business administration with a focus on human resources.
