EnerNOC, Inc., an Enel Group company and a leading provider of energy flexibility and advisory solutions is recruiting a Compensation Manager. This position oversees the global compensation function and plans, develops, and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures. This individual is responsible for ensuring that our compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations. In addition, this role administers our pay philosophy and programs as well as analyzes compensation data and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consults and advises HR regarding compensation policy interpretation, new hire offers, promotions, market analysis, job evaluation, and other compensation projects and initiatives
  • Manage the administration of direct compensation (executive, exempt, and non-exempt cash compensation programs) for corporate staff including the processing, recording, and reporting of compensation-related actions taken on employees including the annual merit and bonus process
  • Analyze the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans which are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives
  • Develop techniques for compiling, preparing, and presenting data
  • Monitor federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure company compliance.
  • Works with HRIS to ensure that all systems meet compensation needs and are updated according to compensation changes
  • Studies labor market and compensation related trends

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, human resources , or related field
  • 6–8 years of experience in the analysis, design, and/or administration of compensation programs
  • Expert Microsoft Office skills
