EnerNOC has an immediate need for a Senior Manager of Flexibility Solutions Field Marketing to join our world-class Marketing organization. The Senior Field Marketing Manager drives market penetration and sales growth across our demand response and DER/storage business footprint by designing go-to-market strategies, assessing competitive landscapes and market positions, and working closely with EnerNOC sales leaders on other strategic priorities. The ideal candidate will possess creativity and excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a small Flexibility Solutions Field & Customer Marketing team; coaching and leading the team to achieve annual goals, consistent with high employee engagement
  • Setting a clear strategic planning process to align sales, marketing and communications; conducting team meetings and performance reviews for all team members; recruiting and building the team for world class results
  • Designing regionally-tailored strategic marketing initiatives to inform lead acquisition strategies and promote profitable growth; Identifying core strategic imperatives, to inform the design, development and execution of campaigns using various marketing mechanisms (webinars, emails, events, etc..) to achieve regional sales and marketing goals
  • Evangelizing new ideas and approaches within the broader organization, particularly to the executive suite and across the go-to-market teams
  • Developing insightful analyses into market trends and identifying opportunities for EnerNOC
  • Building strong relationships within the marketing organization, as well as across regional sales and operations teams; Identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities by working closely with the RSMs/RDs to accelerate adoption of EnerNOC products and services
  • Developing customer and prospect knowledge through analyses of market, competitive, and industry developments
  • Acting as a knowledgeable and vocal EnerNOC champion for customer needs
  • Identifying and improving process weaknesses and creating tools to enhance team productivity
  • Tracking marketing progress against goals, identifying issues, and recommending and executing on solutions for improvement
  • Performing other duties as required

 Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of B.A. or B.S. Degree required; MBA desired
  • A minimum of 7 years work experience in B2B marketing, management consulting, or a similar role
  • Demonstrated success in team-building and coaching
