We are in search of a Director of Sales Operations for our Constant Contact team in our Waltham, Massachusetts office. Reporting into and partnering with our Chief Sales Officer, this is a key role in defining and executing Constant Contact’s sales vision and strategy. This role will also focus on our core systems and business processes leveraged across sales.
Partner with Senior Sales Leaders to define overall vision and strategy Directly manages a Sales Operations team made up of Managers, Sales Ops/Salesforce.com Admins and Data Analysts Partner with IT to ensure the CRM (Salesforce.com) is optimized to support the sales process Sales technology management - establish requirements for Sales technology; assist with design and integration; improvement of solutions over time. Keeps a close eye on technology trends and changes and regularly assesses how to optimize our technology. Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement. Proactively diagnose the analytical requirements of the sales organization; build models to analyze sales and pipeline trends, productivity, and performance Accountable for the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed. Sales strategy - Actively identify the most effective, scalable solutions to address issues and opportunities. Translate into actionable goals with supporting activities for each; implement dashboards/reports/tracking. Builds and fosters close peer support and strong collaborative relationships with other key management personnel across Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and HR
6+ years in Sales Operation or related function, 3+ years of leadership experience within a SaaS company Expertise in all things Salesforce.com Experience in inbound, high volume, high velocity sales Experience in building and managing a Sales Operations team Excellent quantitative and analytical skills Ability to independently lead projects and independently scope, prioritize, manage and execute initiatives Experience building and presenting material for all levels of leadership Proficient with SQL Proficient with Microsoft Excel
