What you’ll do
- Participate in the overall quality assurance process, contributing to continuous improvement through manual testing and supporting automation efforts as needed.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for UI and API testing, focusing on customer scenarios.
- Identify and simulate negative scenarios to ensure robustness and reliability of the product.
- Conduct thorough manual and automated testing of large-scale production SaaS to validate and verify customer scenarios in real-world environments.
- Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to recommend effective test scenarios and strategy
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive customer issue resolution from a quality engineering perspective.
- Recommend and utilize appropriate tools and techniques for manual, automated testing, ensuring efficient and effective test coverage.
- Participate in customer escalations and provide timely, accurate feedback to stakeholders.
What we're looking for
- At least 7+ years of experience testing SaaS products from solution, performance, and scale perspective.
- Strong background in continuous testing using CI/CD methodologies and for products that use distributed systems and modern tech stack like Kubernetes and GCP.
- Deep understanding of user experience and REST APIs
- Strong expertise in writing test automation services using modern automation frameworks and tools.
- Exposure to testing application security and related cybersecurity products is highly desired.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and related disciplines along with experience in product companies is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with geographically distributed teams
- Demonstrated ability to own and deliver projects independently
