Emulate is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Front End Web Developer proficient in JavaScript, particularly in crafting front-end applications using Electron Framework for local deployment. In this pivotal role, you'll play a crucial part in representing Emulate by architecting intuitive user interfaces and experiences for our Organs-on-Chips technology. Your focus will be on leveraging web technologies to build robust and responsive applications tailored for local deployment.   • Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to translate UI/UX designs into functional front-end code.

Desired Skills:

  • 5-7 years of web development experience
  • Bachelor’s in computer science or the equivalent; Advanced degree preferred
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Proficiency using React framework
  • Experience with Electron Framework or similar technologies for local application development
  • Experience working in and writing applications for Ubuntu Linux, Windows, and Mac
  • Strong understanding of front-end development principles and best practices
  • Knowledge of responsive design techniques and cross-browser compatibility
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Knowledge of software stack security requirements and frameworks
  • Ability to define and review project scope & estimate timelines
  • Ability to manage projects with limited supervision
  • Experience with C++ and Python is a plus
  • Familiarity with data systems, databases, ETL processes, and SQL is a plus
