Technical Project Manager - Infrastructure
IT Infrastructure Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to Azure Cloud, networking, security, contact center, platform and service desk operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in infrastructure and security combined with excellent project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
Location: Dallas | Texas | On-site Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Document and actively manage Kanban boards, sprints, epics, and user stories.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, requirements and define sprint goals along with product team.
- Having very good understanding of infrastructure areas such as network, cloud, contact center, and salesforce.
- Gather and document business requirements, systems flow, data flow, data dependencies and functional design along with business analysts / engineers / architects.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, solution analysis, project kickoffs, standups, and status meetings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
- Prepare and present regular project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve issues or conflicts as they arise.
- Translate information requests from internal customers involving ambiguity into actionable tasks for developers.
- Gather and document business requirements, systems flow, data flow, data dependencies and functional design.
- Manage inbound request queue, prioritize requests, and communicate status with stakeholders.
- Create and manage project plans for long running initiatives and coordinate with team day to day progress.
- Own and manage the change management and release management process.
- Supports IT team governance, audit, and controls process.
- Manage and govern team data documentation of solution, requirements, specification, credentials, and processes.
- Special projects as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Having 4-6 years of proven working experience as a Infrastructure Project Manager
- Basic understanding of InfoSec technologies including Cloud, Network, Security and Service Desk
- Have strong understanding of ITIL best practices and process
- Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly regarding data privacy, security, and compliance is a plus.
- Technical expertise regarding requirements gathering, process engineering, technical documentation.
- Good knowledge of SQL and related tools.
- Experience working with Agile Project Management tools (JIRA, Rally, VersionOne, etc.).
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and problem-solving skills.
- Must demonstrate flexibility and excellent organizational skills with the ability to complete a variety of tasks accurately with high attention to detail and creativity.
- Display strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; communicates effectively with all levels of leadership and staff. Presents to executive sponsors occasionally.
- Develop, manage, and maintain customer relationships at all organizational levels.
- ITIL / PMP Certification, preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
