About the Role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, delivery, and reporting of our SaaS software implementations and enablement projects, focusing strongly on integrations, APIs, and EDI dependencies. This role requires an understanding of project management methodologies, SaaS products, and client-facing interactions. The ideal candidate will display a high sense of urgency and proactivity to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while maintaining high-quality standards of transparency internally and externally.

What you’ll do when you get here:

Client Engagement & Pre-Sales Support

  • Partner with customers and Pre-Sales teams in the development, scoping, and execution of Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, building trusted relationships and ensuring customer success.

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Develop, construct, and manage detailed project plans, defining project tasks, resource requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Guide clients to successful go-lives by driving execution against a structured plan while maintaining agility to adapt to change.
  • Monitor project scope and apply effective change control processes; collaborate with clients to identify and secure additional applicable revenue opportunities.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including engineering, product development, sales, and customer support, ensuring alignment and accountability.
  • Work closely with Implementation Management to assemble and manage project staff based on skills, availability, and business needs.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve project risks and issues to minimize impact on timelines and outcomes.
  • Ensure transparency with stakeholders through consistent updates and reporting.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Recommend and implement process improvements and best practices to optimize project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving and streamlining internal systems, procedures, and implementation methodologies.
  • Stay current on industry trends in digital transformation, AI-driven project tracking, and customer experience optimization to evolve the project management discipline.

Tools & Reporting

  • Utilize Salesforce and other project management platforms to maintain real-time project status and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Deliver timely and accurate project reporting to both clients and internal leadership.

What you need to have:

Project Management Expertise

  • 5+ years of SaaS software project management experience in fast-paced, complex operational environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while delivering within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or equivalent certification preferred.

Logistics & Industry Knowledge

  • 3+ years of experience in the logistics industry, with exposure to:
    • Full Truckload (FTL), Less-than-Truckload (LTL), and/or brokerage operations.
    • Procurement, vendor relations, and carrier management.
    • Logistics system integrations involving ERP and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Familiarity with industry data standards, including JSON, API, and EDI.

Technical & Tools Proficiency

  • Hands-on experience with Smartsheet (project dashboards, workspace setup, and reporting).
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (G-Suite) for collaboration and productivity.

Communication & Leadership Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives and diverse stakeholders.
  • Skilled at translating client needs into actionable internal requirements to drive successful implementations.
  • Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.

Salary is commensurate with experience and will include Variable Compensation based on Years of Experience, Skillset, and Location.
