As demand for senior care surges and the Home Instead network evolves, we’re seeking a dynamic, commercially minded Senior Manager,Corporate Development to help shape the future of our franchise network.

Within Honor, the Franchise Sales & Development team plays a pivotal role in this transformation, curating the next generation of mission-aligned entrepreneurs and operators who will carry our brand forward. 

This team sits at the intersection of strategy, deal execution, and human impact. Every transaction is a micro-acquisition that balances financial rigor with deep operational insight. We work closely with entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals, multi-unit operators, and PE-backed groups—driving high-leverage decisions that shape local market dynamics and influence how we deploy capital across our franchise network. 

As the senior care industry grows and evolves, so does our ownership landscape. We’re seeing increased interest from experienced operators and mission-aligned investors, and this team is central to guiding those conversations—working closely with executive leadership to ensure every deal aligns with our brand, values, and long-term network strategy. 

 

As Senior Manager, Corporate Development, you will:

  • Territory Prioritization  & Transition Strategy
    • Assess territories available for sale for attractiveness for Honor, taking into account growth potential and operational considerations, and prioritize transactions
    • Develop territory valuation, in collaboration with Finance and Operational teams, that informs our bidding strategy
    • Develop negotiation strategy, deal terms and LOI for transaction
    • Over the medium term, develop desired transaction roadmap and territories/regions to focus for future acquisitions to inform go forward network shaping strategy

  • Deal Process Leadership
    • Lead end-to-end franchise acquisition  processes—from indication of interest to transaction close
    • Lead a thorough cross-functional due diligence process and vet target territories with input from key stakeholder teams such as Finance, Operations, Legal
    • Develop and enhance transaction playbook for executing transactions, with a view towards improving speed of transaction and ROI/likelihood of success post close
    • Execute each transaction end to end (in line with the playbook) with excellence and bringing key stakeholder teams along every step of the journey

  • Ownership of territory refinancing
    • Develop and streamline the transaction process with funds for post close refinancing to improve speed to refinance and  maximize loan to value
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders [legal, finance, operating team] to ensure we have the right information to streamline each refinancing transaction 
    • Execute each territory refinancing with excellence and ensure we are delivering on KPIs [Speed to refinance and loan to value]

  • Reporting & Executive Communication
    • Track, analyze, and present KPIs across acquired territories
    • Identify key gaps and opportunities, relative to deal thesis and identify action plan, in concert with finance and operating teams
    • Deliver sharp, actionable insights to executive leadership that drive data-informed decisions

 

We’re looking for you to bring:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5–7 years experience in corporate development, small business M&A, mid-market private equity, or strategic development roles with exposure to multi-unit or franchise businesses.
  • Proven success driving transactions with banks, private equity, or other institutional investors required.
  • Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) qualification and experience in franchise M&A is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong deal execution skills with direct experience interfacing with banks, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders on financing and transactional processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage deal models and assess valuations.

Our range reflects the hiring range for this position.  We use national average to determine pay as we are a remote first company.  Individual pay is based on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, experience, education, and training.

Base pay is just a part of our total rewards program.  Honor offers equity and 401K with up to a 4% match.  We provide medical, dental and vision coverage including zero cost plans for employees.  Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Life Insurance are fully employer paid with a voluntary additional Life Insurance option.  We offer a generous time off program, mental health benefits, wellness program, and discount program.

Hiring Salary Range
$144,200$170,000 USD
