Zola is looking for an experienced, whip-smart Senior Copywriter, UX. This person will report into the VP of Brand. 

Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, compelling, and concise copy that successfully guides users through our funnels and builds brand loyalty
  • Collaborate with Zola’s product, marketing, and business teams to effectively position products and features that serve our couples, guests, and vendors
  • QA and regularly audit UX copy to spot inconsistencies and create optimizations 
  • Establish and implement UX guidelines and best practices, including how Zola’s TOV gets adapted for UX and product copy
  • Own all storytelling for our vendor marketplace - including how we communicate with both couples and vendors and guide them through the product experience
  • Support and partner with creative team to craft compelling narratives and copy that brings the brand story to life 
  • Advocate for the user and our brand voice in all product design and copy

Qualifications:

  • 4 years experience writing and editing UX copy, ideally at a consumer-facing tech company
  • Portfolio or examples of relevant UX work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Figma is your love language, you’re versed in UX best practices, and you’ve never met a process you didn’t want to improve
