As a Principal Brand Manager, you’ll join a fast-growing team of marketers passionate about building an iconic brand through data-driven full-funnel advertising, activations, and partnerships.
You will be responsible for developing campaign strategy for full-funnel advertising campaigns, with a focus on mid-funnel and direct response assets to drive consideration and conversions for HubSpot and its products. You will collaborate closely with direct response paid media, revenue operations, internal creative teams, and external agency partners to create and execute campaigns, measure their effectiveness, and regularly optimize creative and channel mix to reach company goals.
You’ll also be responsible for evaluating and managing the execution of third-party partnerships across various strategic brand partners in sports, media, and more, to drive awareness, memorability, and buzz for the brand. You'll work closely with our partnerships, social, and creative teams.
You’ll be a brand steward and work with stakeholders across the organization to craft, preserve, and further develop the HubSpot brand.
In this role, you’ll:
- Be responsible for the brand strategy and creative advertising at mid-funnel and direct response that increases consideration and conversions (demos, signups, leads)
- Develop and review creative, messaging, and copy aimed at driving consideration and conversions
- Become a product and audience expert, understanding our audience’s pain points and how HubSpot helps solve them
- Work cross-functionally with global teams across the organization to transcreate work for key markets
- Familiarize yourself with upper-funnel brand campaigns and work to create a consistent brand experience down-funnel
- Provide creative feedback to internal and external partners in a way that is clear, empowering, and empathetic
- Work with the revenue operations and direct response paid teams to report on campaign success and make optimization recommendations for campaigns
- Evaluate, manage, and report on the success of partnerships, including working with cross-functional teams to develop creative and content, and oversee in-person events in connection with the partnership
- Generate new ideas for how HubSpot can reach our audience in fresh, breakthrough ways that turn heads and capture outsized attention
We are looking for people who:
- [Required] Have 10+ years of experience as an individual contributor in a brand marketing role at an agency or in-house
- [Required] Are passionate about full-funnel advertising, especially mid-funnel and direct response, and have experience developing campaign strategy and creative advertising for the mid-funnel and direct response that increases consideration and conversions (demos, signups, leads)
- [Required] Have a deep understanding of performance marketing and how brand marketing can influence performance goals
- [Required] Have experience creating strategic and tactical briefs for agency partners, creators, and internal teams
- [Required] Have experience managing partnerships and activations and building long-term programs that help increase brand awareness, sentiment, and consideration
- [Required] Are able to set campaign goals, analyze campaign data to make optimizations, and report on campaign success and brand health metrics
- Are knowledgeable about social media, influencer marketing, and paid media and their impact on brand
- Consistently have delivered results in their role, exceeding/overperforming against key brand and direct response metrics
- Working with external vendors, like agency partners and creators, and have a proven track record of collaborating with them to build successful demand campaigns
- Are familiar with paid media channels, campaign managers, and developing paid media strategies along with internal teams and agency partners
- Are naturally curious and have a drive to learn more
- Are able to communicate ideas and decisions clearly across teams and to leadership

Cash compensation range: 114000-182000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
