As the People (HR) Generalist, you will work closely with the People (HR) & Total Rewards (TR) teams to manage and support employees and managers in Pakistan with the following: recruiting, onboarding/training, facilities management, compensation & benefits assessment, events & community activities.

This is a full-time position based out of Pakistan and will require to be in-person in the Karachi office.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Partner with the People (HR) team to manage the ongoing operational needs of employees in Pakistan, including the Karachi office.
  • Build relationships with local managers and employees, be a trusted resource for their needs and escalate issues as necessary for quick resolutions
  • Manager benefit vendor relationship and be point of contact for any benefit related escalations 
  • Partner with the People Team to provide local support around onboarding.
  • Create and maintain relationships with vendors for office equipment, shipping/handling importing/exporting of goods, hospitality, food & beverage
  • Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and local finance partners at DO
  • Support on PK payroll coordination as needed.
  • Monitor local updates around inflation and share market trends/insights on compensation data for the region.
  • Work with our Total Rewards team to review our benchmarks in the region on an annual basis.

  • Experience working in a startup / fast paced / ambiguous environment
