Sous Chef

Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh is seeking an experienced Sous-Chef who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchens and directly oversee all cooks, deboxing and cooling practices. You will monitor equipment maintenance and conditions and will ensure that the kitchen operates alongside state and federal health and safety codes. You will also ensure that all food meets the highest quality standards and is produced on time

You will...

Be responsible for training kitchen staff and provide coaching and development to shift hourly kitchen staff.
Food procurement, delivery, storage and issuing of food items.
Planning energy conservation procedures in the kitchen.
Report information and update managers throughout every shift with knowledge of kitchen’s operations
Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas
Submit requests for maintenance, repairs and upkeep of the kitchen and its equipment
Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to the Chef de Cuisine during the shift
Perform accident investigations and notify management as appropriate

High School Diploma, GED or related work experience
American Culinary Federation chef certification preferred
5+ years’ experience in commissary kitchen and high-volume food preparation
Fluent in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications

E. Biometric Information: An individual’s physiological, biological, or behavioral characteristics, including an individual’s deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), that can be used, singly or in combination with each other or with other identifying data, to establish individual identity. Biometric information includes, but is not limited to, imagery of the iris, retina, fingerprint, face, hand, palm, vein patterns, and voice recordings, from which an identifier template, such as a faceprint, a minutiae template, or a voiceprint, can be extracted, and keystroke patterns or rhythms, gait patterns or rhythms, and sleep, health, or exercise data that contain identifying information.

F. Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information: Browsing history, search history, and information regarding a consumer’s interaction with an internet website, application, or advertisement.

G. Geolocation Data: Geolocation data.

H. Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information: Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information.

I. Professional or Employment-Related Information: Professional or employment-related
information.

J. Education Information: Information that is not publicly available personally identifiable information as defined in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

K. Inferences: Inferences drawn from any of the information identified above to create a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.

HelloFresh collects the following categories of personal information about applicants and/or employees:
