DACH Marketing Manager - Berlin or Munich based

We are looking for a smart and driven DACH Marketing Manager to support the growth targets for the DACH region. With a strong and dedicated team, the DACH business has grown fast - we have exclusive and long term partnerships with leading Publishers such as Süddeutsche Zeitung, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Ströer and Bauer Media Group and our advertisers include major brand names such as VW, Deutsche Bank, HelloFresh, ERGO and many more. 

The DACH Marketing Manager role is a full-time position, and sits within the EMEA Marketing Team. It requires the candidate to collaborate with different teams such as the DACH Sales team, Marketing Operations, Content Marketing, Design and other teams to execute regional marketing plans aimed at driving business growth in the region. This role allows you to go new ways to further accelerate our and your own growth.

We’re looking for a candidate with a can-do attitude that has excellent collaboration and written communication skills, and a drive to learn!

 

Responsibilities and skills:

  • Develop the marketing strategy & plan for DACH to drive regional business growth and maximize immediate and long-term ROI
  • Support with the creation and execution of data-based marketing strategies to drive regional business growth and maximize immediate and long-term ROI
  • Own in-person and online events from coordinating operations with different stakeholders, managing our presence and creating impactful content to drive leads and build awareness, like OMR or DMEXCO
  • Plan and execute customer retention activities including hosted events and gifting
  • Translate activities into meaningful data and reports using various platforms and tools, like Salesforce and QlikSense
  • Drive PR and communication efforts in collaboration with our PR agency
  • Grow and monitor local content and social channels, optimizing their use for maximum impact, for example the Taboola blog and LinkedIn profile
  • Localize global marketing materials and create local market insights
  • Collaborate effectively together with multiple stakeholders from Sales, Account Management and Marketing to understand business goals and execute on marketing objectives in a timely manner
  • Develop a deep understanding of Taboola’s product positioning, core advantage and unique offering in order to best represent the company to different kinds of external audiences via different channels

 

Requirements:

  • Native-level German skills required 
  • 3+ years of experience in owning and leading marketing strategies in a B2B company
  • Thorough understanding of various marketing channels 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Innovative self-starter and solution-oriented problem solver
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • A team player and comfortable to work with a high degree of autonomy in an ever-changing startup-like environment
  • Experience in (digital) event management is a plus 
  • Comfortable working with remote, international teams
