The Project Engineer will support the project team by coordinating all project documentation, assisting with scheduling, managing submittals and RFIs, and working closely with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and clients. This is an entry to mid-level role that is ideal for someone looking to grow into a Project Manager position.
What You'll Do:
Assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and tracking project milestones
Prepare, review, and distribute submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and change order requests
Coordinate with field staff and subcontractors to resolve design and construction issues
Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with contract requirements
Help track project costs and budgets, including reviewing invoices and pay applications
Participate in site visits to verify progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards
Support project closeout including punch lists, as-builts, and warranty documentation
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
1-3 years of experience in construction project coordination or engineering preferred
Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and scheduling tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction software (Procore experience a plus)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
