SUMMARY OF ROLE:

The Associate Territory Manager (ATM) is a field-based role responsible for both sales and sales support functions within the assigned territory. In this role, the ATM will collaborate closely with Territory Managers to drive sales initiatives, provide customer support, and assist in overall territory management. Key responsibilities include patient fitting, supporting sales activities, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring seamless territory coverage to optimize business growth. 

This position reports to the Regional Director and operates under their guidance. With strong performance and achievement of key objectives, the ATM role offers a clear pathway to advancement as a Territory Manager. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working closely with the Territory Manager, will drive adoption of Element Science’s Jewel device by engaging and educating physicians and support staff through one-on-one discussions, group in-services, exhibits, and conferences. Effectively persuade key stakeholders and empower prescribing entities to become self-sufficient in enrollment and utilization. 
  • Drive sales expansion and account growth by developing strategic relationships, identifying new opportunities, and increasing patient access to products, as directed by the Region Director. 
  • Play a key role in sales support and account management to drive consistent utilization of the Jewel WCD, ensuring seamless integration, customer satisfaction, and long-term success. 
  • Drive success by achieving assigned sales objectives, aligning with key OKRs to maximize growth, expand market presence, and deliver measurable business impact. 
  • Become a trusted clinical advocate by serving as a subject matter expert on Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Jewel Patch-WCD, confidently communicating its value, and increasing awareness in clinical settings 
  • Help hospital and office staff succeed by providing clear guidance on submitting complete orders. Offer education and support to minimize medical order exceptions and streamline the process. 
  • Analyze and report on key trends within your territory, providing valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making and sales growth. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • The employee will sit for long periods of time during travel.
  • The employee will walk frequently within hospital facilities.
  • The employee will be required to crouch, kneel, stoop, balance, and reach.
  • The employee shall be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, near and far vision, and depth perception.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required.  
  • Must be able to drive an automobile and may be required to travel up to 60%. Ability to travel overnight, evenings, and/or weekends as required.  
  • Ability to be on-call during nights/weekends 
  • Candidates must meet one of the following experience criteria:  
  • At least one year of sales experience in a competitive B2B, pharmaceutical, or medical device environment. 
  • At least two years of field clinical support experience with a pharmaceutical or medical device company. 
  • At least two years of clinical experience in a multispecialty hospital setting, specifically in cardiology. 
  • Valid state driver’s license required.

The salary for this exempt-level position will be based on experience and qualifications within an established pay range.
