We’re looking for…

A E-Commerce Analyst for our Merchandising Team who will assume responsibility for site analytics related to our Brands and Merchandising initiatives (including sales, brand metrics, brand cadence, category insights, conversion, and other initiatives).  The Analyst will translate this data into specific, actionable insights and strategies that will enable us to optimize sales, profits, efficiencies, and customer engagement.    

This position reports to the VP of Marketplace, and requires a strong combination of exceptional analytical abilities, strategic thinking, common sense business acumen, excellent communications and leadership skills, and outstanding collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams. 

What you’ll Do:

  • Partner with merchants to optimize sales and customer engagement through the following:
    • Optimal brand assortment targets by merchandise classification, brand type, and size
    • Monitor brand and franchise cadence on our site. Implement guidelines to balance sales maximization with appropriate exposure
    • Analyze visitation and conversion by brand and recommend appropriate actions
    • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Recommend specific strategies and actions that will enable us to optimize sales and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with our Merchandising team to execute and analyze overall site performance based on brand performance and content
  • Maximize our brands efficiencies via trend analysis and target implementation, including:
    • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Recommend specific strategies and actions that will enable us to optimize sales and customer engagement.
    • Analyze results of innovation initiatives

In addition, this role will interact daily with many key departments, so you will have consistent exposure to all aspects of the SPO business and will work directly with many of our awesome teams, including Merchandising, Marketing, Product and Businesses Development, and will have exposure to Senior Management team as well.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ Years Related Experience in a Retail, E-Commerce, or Data Analytics environment. Exposure to Fashion and Merchandising preferred. 
  • Proven Analytics & Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate data and analysis into specific set of conclusions and strategies. 
  • Prior experience with Adobe Analytic platform
  • Excellent Communication & Leadership Skills
  • Confident and persuasive presentation skills.
  • Outstanding Collaboration / Teamwork Skills
  • Self starter who is highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a high-energy, fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Base Salary Range: $60,000 - 77,000

Rue Gilt Groupe is committed to providing Associates with equal pay for equal work and carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including prior experience, skills and expertise, location, and internal equity. Our goal is to support, reward and compensate the entire individual. Depending on role eligibility, your offer may also include bonus/commission, equity, 401(k) match, and a variety of benefits. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated.
