CarGurus’s Sales Operations organization is actively seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join our team. This position is a key strategic part of our sales organization, responsible for supervising and completing internal support requests in a timely manner, working on reporting and analytics for revenue teams, data projects and Sales Support. 

The individual in this role is highly motivated by investigating and resolving problems. The ideal candidate will seek to continually improve our procedures, as well as act as a subject matter professional, to provide high quality support to our sales and service organizations. 

We are looking for a process-driven individual who operates with autonomy and communicates excellently, has a strong sense of stakeholder cross-collaboration, and excellent organizational skills. What you'll do: 

 

  • Run regular data quality checks to pinpoint any issues and suggest solutions to ensure we are maintaining data integrity 
  • Identify roadblocks or gaps in the sales processes and work with key-stakeholders to find and implement solutions 
  • Act as an internal process expert across key processes, including prospecting, book of business management and sales reporting. 

 

  • Be able to provide training and educating users on key procedures  
  • Use data and insights to help sales teams identify trends across revenue and productivity metrics.  
  • Build and maintain sales reporting to track  sales efficiency across key sales activities and metrics including,  sales pipeline, opportunity management, close rates, product saturation, churn ect. 
  • Assist with a variety of ad-hoc Sales Operations tasks including helping with sales support desk queries 
  • Work with our EA and Engineering team to find resolutions to system-critical bugs and enhancements 

Who you are: 

  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales Ops/Salesforce Admin role 
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal 
  • Highly detail oriented and strong problem-solving skills 
  • Consultative and collaborative 
  • Self-starter who can work and learn autonomous  
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Experience juggling multiple tasks at once 
  • Flexibility to periodically extend working hours to support the Sales organization 
  • Excellent collaboration skills
