Lyft is hiring a stellar Policy Partnerships Manager for its Public Policy team in San Francisco or Washington DC. Reporting to the Senior Policy Partnerships Manager, this individual will develop strategies and own key relationships with third party organizations to advance Lyft’s positive impact in the areas of road and public safety.
Create and nurture enduring partnerships with external organizations focused on safety, including law enforcement associations and road safety advocacy groups
Develop and execute a strategy that will help further Lyft’s role as a leading voice on safety, utilizing our platform’s unique abilities to improve transportation safety
Collaborate with members across the Lyft team on research, communications, and products related to safety
Ensure follow-through from partners on policy advocacy and other forms of engagement
Represent Lyft at conferences and other public events throughout North America
Experience & Skills:
5+ years of experience in relevant political, campaign, or partnership experience
Proven entrepreneurial and scrappy spirit
Exceptional strategic, organizational, and program management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional and multi-stakeholder, demanding (and sometimes unstructured) environment
Self-starter; intrinsically motivated
Natural connector and relationship builder
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) - you know how to tell a good story
Excited about traveling
Law enforcement or military backgrounds especially encouraged to apply
