Help scale and evolve our design system into a mature, accessible, high-adoption platform that powers our enterprise SaaS products. In this role, you’ll bring proven experience in scaling systems for complex applications, collaborate closely with designers, engineers and product teams to bring a modern, cohesive look and feel to every product touchpoint. What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to the evolution of a scalable design system that improves product consistency, accessibility, and usability.
  • with engineering to ensure smooth implementation and quality alignment between design tokens, components, and code.
  • Collaborate with product teams (design + engineering) who consume the system to gather feedback, identify gaps, and shape features that meet their needs.
  • Track and report adoption metrics, using insights to drive system improvements and advocate for system use across the organization.
  • Proactively identify and address usability problems and opportunities across the platform through hands-on usage of our products.
  • Bring a modern, fresh perspective to the UI—introducing design patterns, visual styles, and interaction approaches that elevate the overall experience.
  • Create, maintain, and improve system documentation in a clear, consumable format for designers and engineers.
  • Participate in user testing and validation of components, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and adherence to UX best practices.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, iterative environment, balancing quality with speed to deliver value quickly.
  • Co-lead initiatives with Design, Product Management, and Engineering to align the system with business goals, technical constraints, and user needs.
  • Mentor peers on design system best practices and influence product teams to take a systematic approach to design.

What You'll Have

  • 2-4 years of experience designing and shipping digital products and design systems
  • Training and comfort using the tools and practices of HCD, UX, and Design Systems – Figma, Zeroheight, Storybook, GitHub.
  • Demonstrated success incorporating WCAG accessibility practices and tools (e.g. Stark) into componentry and tokens.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to streamline your workflow while exercising a discerning eye to edit and refine outputs.
  • Experience participating in the product development process as an equal partner to Product Managers and Engineering.
  • Demonstrated systems thinker, with a broad and holistic approach to understand how all the pieces connect together.
  • An understanding of how research, data, heuristics and design sense play into decision making.
  • Experience designing componentry and collaborating with Engineering through the end-to-end process
  • Proven ability to manage multiple design requests in a timely fashion, with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate asynchronously and with teams across time zones. .
  • Fluent in conversational and written English communication.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with device screen sizes and responsive grid principles
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Inclination to tinker and experiment with the goal of improving and scaling workflows
  • Experience designing for variable data and multiple form-factors
  • Ability to create usage guides and annotations to be used cross-functionally
  • Interaction design sensibility for micro-interactions and motion
