The Marketing team at Yext is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager focused on driving the Yext Reviews GTM strategy, plan, and execution. 

This role is the glue that binds our GTM and product strategy to the tactics that we need to drive success in sales and marketing and achieve results. You will be the market evangelist and domain expert for reputation management. You know our competitors like the back of your hand and how to effectively win against them. You also know our buyers better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions. You back up your plans and strategies with data and market evidence and use that knowledge to develop positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sellers and partners to be successful. You collaborate with our marketing team to develop innovative programs that drive demand for your products and create compelling content to support these initiatives.  

Attention to detail and an eye for quality are critical to your success, along with an ability to grasp and present your product’s value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our buyers’ problems. You are obsessed with tracking performance and have the data to prove what’s working and what isn’t.

This role requires strategic thinking, customer-centric approaches, a deep understanding of Yext products, and storytelling acumen. Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration to influence teams across the organization are essential. 

What You'll Do

  • Market intelligence - be the expert on our buyers, how they buy, and their key buying criteria
  • Competitive intelligence - understand the competitive landscape, be the expert on our competition, how they are positioned, and how we win. Enable the sales team to effectively compete against our key competitors through training, battle cards, etc.
  • Launch and GTM strategy - plan product launches and releases, manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan, collaborate with GTM  to effectively enable internal teams, and analyze and optimize GTM performance.
  • Messaging and positioning - develop compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target customers, segments, verticals, and geographies. Determine ways to test and optimize the content and format of our product messaging and positioning, enabling our sales teams to present the right message and materials to the right buyers at the right time.
  • Product adoption and growth - work and collaborate with Demand Generation, Customer, and Partner Marketing to understand and document the customer journey. Based on your continued learning, drive changes as needed to our sales and marketing processes. Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis and deliver improvement recommendations to the functional owners and leadership. 
  • PMM strategy - develop a product marketing plan for the products you support in conjunction with the team, including key activities and budgets to acquire new customers and support retaining existing customers.
  • Content marketing - create compelling content, including sales and event presentations, web pages, eBooks, videos, and other assets as needed to effectively engage customers in our campaigns and programs.
  • Thought leadership - act as the primary thought leader for your products. Deliver thought leadership on your domain expertise through external customer meetings, speaking engagements, and written assets.
  • Revenue enablement - understand and support our revenue channels. Train revenue team members on the problems we solve for customers, develop internal tools and collateral, and teach sales and customer success how to use them.
  • Domain expertise - deep knowledge of the market, assigned products, target customers, personas, customer buying journeys
  • Leadership skills - the ability to speak with confidence about your domain to high-level audiences, provide guidance and clear direction to key stakeholders, and establish trust and credibility with stakeholders and customers. In addition, the ability to mentor the team, regularly raising the bar among other team members.
  • Analytical acumen - the ability to create and dive deep into data, analyze, and provide insights on market opportunities, competitors, and product marketing performance

What You Have

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing in the B2B SaaS space.
  • Sharp writing and presentation skills with a knack for distilling complex ideas into compelling copy.
  • Proven understanding of B2B SaaS sales process, ideally in digital marketing.
  • Ability to craft value-based messaging for multiple audiences.
  • Proven leadership and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, and exercise independent and sound judgment.
  • Track record of creating presentations, web pages, and other content assets tailored to resonate.
  • Ability to manage expectations, opinions, and feedback from multiple stakeholders and on multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated talent and appreciation for both qualitative and quantitative research and creating recommendations, strategies, and outputs based on that research.

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
