Must-have Skills

- Programming Languages:
- Experience with at least one of the following: Go, Java, or Python. Proficiency in scripting and automation tasks.
- Cloud Experience:
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services (focus on networking, compute, and storage services).
- Familiarity with cloud best practices, including cost optimization, security, and scalability.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and provisioning.
- Containerization and Orchestration:
- Docker for containerized applications.
- Experience or basic working knowledge of Kubernetes (deployment, service management, scaling).
- Observability and Monitoring:
- Basic understanding of crafting targeted service and infrastructure-level observability (logs, metrics, tracing).
- Incident Response:
- Ability to perform incident response and management, including debugging, root cause analysis, and post-mortems on a weekly rotation.
- Programming Languages:
Nice-to-have Skills

- Monitoring & Metrics:
- Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana for setting up metrics, alerts, and dashboards.
- Big Data and Data Pipelines:
- Experience with big data projects or data pipelines (preferred, but not mandatory for L2 roles).
- Kafka:
- Basic knowledge of Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming (not mandatory but an added advantage).
- Databases:
- Familiarity with managing databases in AWS RDS or other relational databases. Exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Caching Technologies:
- Basic knowledge of Redis or Memcached for caching.
