Wizards is looking for an experienced game Producer with bilingual (Chinese) skills to support integration and operational efforts for the highly successful Magic: The Gathering Arena franchise in conjunction with overseas publishing and/or development partners. In this role, you would be responsible for working with both internal and external teams to help expand our product and services for our fans globally.
A Day in the life as a Bilingual Producer:
Works with internal and external resources to facilitate in-depth technical and functional documentation, and work with external developers (in their native language) to handle realistic integration schedules with detailed achievements and deliverables.
Serves as principal source of Chinese translation around production and technical conversations and documentation.
Works closely with internal Senior Producers to represent and facilitate bi-directional communication between internal stakeholders and partner project personnel.
Coordinates between partner Live Operations activities and internal Live Producer to ensure alignment.
Coordinates closely with internal Business development and cross-organization efforts to clarify and run partner expectations, with respect to assigned digital services, product and integration.
What you'll bring:
3+ years’ experience working as a Producer on an internal or external development team within the video game industry
Strong verbal & written communication skills.
Prior experience working with multinational projects across diverse business cultures
Technical project management experience – ability to communicate technical concepts in both English and Chinese
Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and meet deadlines under pressure
Superior scheduling, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills with the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced development and operational environment
