What we’re looking for
We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as a Laundry Facility Manager. Some of the duties of the position include mentoring 5-7 housekeepers, facilitating daily team meetings, inspecting cleans, providing training, and assisting housekeepers as needed. In addition, the position would entail all aspects of housekeeping including deep cleaning, organizing, stocking amenities, and corresponding with our outstanding local team, as well as our central management team. The Laundry Facility Manager will also assist in the recruiting of additional housekeepers to staff their team.
While this position begins as part-time, you may have the opportunity to obtain full-time employment based on your skill set and the company's growth.
Compensation
- $50000 / year. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location.

What you’ll do
- Mentoring, training and supporting a group of 4-5 Housekeepers and assisting them when necessary with cleans.
- Corresponding on a regular basis via email and phone with the Local Operations Manager and Housekeeping Coordinators.
- Corresponding on a regular basis with the housekeepers you mentor.
- Ensuring housekeeping staff follow through on assignments and giving instructions regarding work methods and routines.
- Performing regular inspections of cleans done by housekeepers.
- Taking care of cleans as needed.
- Working alongside Maintenance Technicians to ensure that guests enjoy their stays at the properties we manage.
- Replacing light bulbs that are reachable without a ladder.
- Maintaining hot tubs.
- Sorting, counting, and marking clean linens, and storing them in linen closets.
- Replenishing and cleaning/laundering supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
- Covering for the Local Operations Manager when necessary.
Skills you’ll need
- Cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, bathrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
- Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
- Emptying wastebaskets and transporting other trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and/or polishing floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
- Dusting and polishing furniture and equipment.
- Keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Removing debris from driveways, garages, yards, and swimming pool areas.
- Washing windows, walls and woodwork, and polishing as necessary.
- Creating maintenance tickets for necessary repairs.
- Disinfecting equipment and supplies using germicides.
- Dusting window blinds.
- Locating and storing lost and found items after guest stays.
- Moving and arranging furniture and turning mattresses.
- Observing precautions required to protect properties and guest property, and reporting damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
- Laundering linens and towels and replacing them when necessary
