As an Office Lead at your regional headquarters in San Francisco, you will oversee the management of the office to ensure everything runs smoothly and that our Compass office standards are being maintained. You will plan and coordinate events that drive our customer engagement and retention goals. You are passionate about your customers, delivering a world-class office and event experience, and enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
Please note: this role is 100% in-office in San Francisco (891 Beach St).
At Compass You Will:

Maintain office supply, food, and beverage inventory so the needs of our customers are met while remaining within budgetary restrictions.

Ensure cleanliness and overall organization of all areas of the office, including reception, conference rooms, kitchen, storage, and general common areas.

Ensure facility standards, security, and aesthetics are maintained by conducting daily
quality-assurance walkthroughs, holding third-party vendors accountable for their scope of services, and coordinating office repairs/services.

Manage and execute the office’s standard operating procedures and tracking processes
(including budgeting, Procurement, Onboarding, etc.).

Follow appropriate procedures to process and track all customer (agent) commission checks, referrals, and CDAs.

Manage internal communications including office updates and newsletter in collaboration with others.

Plan and coordinate events that drive our customer engagement and retention goals in collaboration with local leadership. Act as the single point of contact when hosting important speakers or executive visitors to the office.

Partner with various members of the Workplace Operations team and other parts of Compass on special projects and initiatives.

Be a culture carrier who inspires and empowers those around you with a positive and constructive approach to creating and implementing change. Drive employee and customer recognition by helping to celebrate birthdays, milestones, etc.

Periodically serve as the face of the office by welcoming guests, managing mail distribution, and answering phone calls to our main office line when the Agent Experience Coordinator is unavailable.
What We're Looking For:

2-4 years of previous experience in customer service, office management, hospitality, or operations

Previous experience in real estate is a plus

A passion for creating community within a space; you encourage in-office interaction, bonding, and engagement

Great listening skills, connect well with others, and is empathetic of the customer’s pain points

Strong verbal communication and presentation skills

Ability to work in the office during standard operating hours

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is a base pay of $22.00 - $33.00 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
