Team Background

The In-house Marketing & Design Studio is responsible for creating high quality, best-in-class design materials, brand identities, and campaigns for our agents; evolving and refining the Compass brand; and partnering with other internal teams to maintain and raise creative excellence throughout the company.

 

The Role

Compass seeks an experienced and versatile creative project manager to execute world-class creative production across the company. You will work on several verticals that touch our brand, products and customers. Production goals will focus around maximizing quality while maintaining speed and abundance of deliverables. In this role, you will be creating scalable processes that allow creative teams to meet deadlines, budgets, quality standards, and strategy expectations. The Creative Producer interfaces with execs and department heads, therefore, requires solid stakeholder management and institutional knowledge. We are looking for someone with a keen ability to navigate competing priorities, allocate resources appropriately, and mitigate associated challenges for content production across the Compass Brand.

At Compass you will: 

Creative Produce 

  • Work across multiple internal teams to meet high level business goals by streamlining strategy and creative execution while keeping all key stakeholders accountable and informed.
  • Have a creative point of view on projects and be able to explain concepts, ideas and brand guidelines in a clear, friendly and convincing manner.
  • Handle day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of production needs. 
  • Produce design projects, photo shoots, video shoots, with both internal and freelance creators, as needed.

Project Manage  

  • Define project schedules, and manage calendars for highly specialized creative work.
  • Effectively lead and clearly communicate overall project and campaign timelines, project deliverables, and resourcing needs. 
  • Turn complex business problems into clear action plans.
  • Ensure all creative work has measurable business impact and ties to established Company Goals. 
  • Own the creation and updating of organization-wide roadmaps and initiative trackers. 
  • Drive go to market strategy and comms to our customers and internal partners.

Manage Stakeholders

  • Act as ‘Single Point of Accountability’ for all internal teams in need of Marketing and Design Support.
  • Plan, lead, and execute internal and external workflows, ensuring an effective exchange of information and deliverables. 
  • Build relationships with your Marketing, Product, Comms, Growth and Regional counterparts to ensure that creative is considerate of all impacted stakeholders. 
  • Lead feedback loops with internal stakeholders and customers; synthesize trends into actionable next steps.

Improve Processes 

  • Help identify gaps in the creative process and work to enact efficiency standards and production processes.
  • Support the Creative Resourcing team in creative optimization, load balancing, project management software maintenance and goal tracking. 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5 years of professional content production in advertising and marketing.
  • Big picture thinker who is able to distill complex goals into actionable plans. 
  • Someone who speaks fluent ‘creative’ & feels at home supporting in-house brands. 
  • Master stakeholder manager.
  • Has experience influencing content strategy. 
  • Incredibly detail-oriented and organized.
  • Experienced at using data to optimize production processes and craft clear goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to craft cohesive project and strategy plans that exemplify the overall impact as well as creative steps.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to clearly communicate concepts through mocks and decks when pitching work to stakeholders and directors.
  • Leans into customer and stakeholder feedback; ability to translate feedback into actionable next steps.
  • Enthusiasm surrounding meeting deadlines, juggling multiple projects, and adapting to changes in direction.

Compensation: The salary pay range for this position is $79,200 - $88,000; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
