Role: Ecommerce Associate

Base Location: NYC

About the role:

The Ecommerce Associate will support the monitoring and optimization of performance to achieve sales and profit goals of the Myprotein D2C (direct-to-consumer) business, aligned with the wider omnichannel growth strategy and brand identity. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for tracking key metrics, implementing strategies, and driving overall site performance.

Business Strategy:

  • Work cross functionally across the business to drive continual improvements in AOV, conversion, and bounce rate on site to reduce barriers to buying online
  • Optimizing the customer onsite journey from landing on the website to checkout, and all funnels in between
  • Ensure all key trading moments are well planned and executed with a 360-market activation plan, clearly phased targets by day, site, channel and brand that have been collaboratively produced with buying and marketing functions
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure product availability and visibility on site, drive site traffic, optimize customer journey, and align creative assets with brand guidelines
  • Work with central teams to identify new projects to drive efficiencies and improvements across the territory
  • Identify competitors and their activity, make reactive decisions based on the information

Reporting:

  • Use our in-house data and technology platform to share valuable insights on customer behavior and trends to inform decisions across the wider team
  • Regular reporting of KPI performance, special promotions, and actively drive improvements in any underperforming areas
  • Ad hoc analysis projects to support business strategy

 What skills & experience do I need for this role?

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Maths, or equivalents
  • 1-2 years' experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to collaborate across functions with all team members
  • Ability to prioritize and structure work in an organized fashion
  • Strong financial and analytical ability
  • Excellent communicator, problem-solver and critical thinker
  • Systems- excel, google analytics, ecommerce platform system knowledge is a plus
  • An interest in health, wellness, and fitness (preferred but not essential)
