The Senior Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our product portfolio, leading product launch and commercialization strategies, with a special focus on the clinical marketing of our scientific evidence. This role encompasses managing and coordinating the commercial launch of new products, executing brand strategies, and ensuring the integration of clinical insights into our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both product and clinical marketing within the healthcare industry.
Essential Duties - Include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead the commercial launch of new products and drive brand strategy for existing products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing leaders to develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans that incorporate clinical insights and evidence.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
- Work with commercial leaders to develop and deliver sales enablement materials that effectively convey the clinical benefits and applications of our products.
- Engage with clinical teams, including R&D and SciComm, to gather and leverage clinical evidence, outcomes, and customer feedback to inform marketing strategies.
- Develop abstract summaries for key conferences, create and execute clinical marketing resources and campaigns to communicate the clinical value and impact of our products.
- Ensure operational readiness for all product launches, including coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, clinical teams, and product development teams.
- Respond to questions and requests related to department programs and functions, and keep current on all technical and clinical data associated with the assay(s), along with primary product positioning, messages, and promotional collateral.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of working time away from the work location, which may include overnight and weekend travel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing preferred.
- 5+ years of marketing experience in the diagnostic, biopharma, or medical device fields.
- 3+ years of experience in a regulated environment, to include CLIA, FDA, CE, and IVDR.
- Demonstrated understanding of market development and commercial launches for new products.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully launch and market products in a highly competitive market.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical NGS marketing for oncology.
- Previous experience with IVD product marketing strongly preferred.
- Field sales experience in oncology is a plus.
