We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, HRIS with Workday expertise. You will provide leadership and champion partnership across the global People team. You will configure, test, implement, maintain, enhance, the global HRIS  system. In addition, you will communicate and train the organization to optimally improve our People Technology Solutions, while also ensuring data integrity, security, and operation precision. This role will be a point-of-contact and subject matter expert for all areas within Workday, such as Core HR, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, Absent Management, Time, Benefits, and Talent. You will also be responsible for integrations with Workday such as Greenhouse, ADP, and Qualtrics. You will build strong relationships and collaborate closely with our business partners to understand business challenges, capture requirements, and deliver solutions in Workday that support the company’s business objectives. You will also push the broad use of people metrics and analytics to improve HR performance and drive business performance. You will define and lead projects that drive significant insights and change across topics including workforce planning, employee experience, DE&I, attrition, and talent acquisition. You will be a player-coach and manage a team of 4 experienced HRIS team members. Role Details

  • Provide functional services to HR by acting as the subject matter expert for Workday in a global company
  • Lead various projects involving new functionality, process improvement and related system integrations
  • Ability to analyze functional specifications and change requests and deliver Workday solutions
  • Develop and deliver solutions end-to-end, from end-user experience to system impact and support
  • Continually seeks ways to improve the process of delivering Workday solutions
  • Support upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation, and overall system performance
  • Provide both leadership and support for Workday issue resolution
  • Leverage people analytics dashboards and tools to independently drive high-level analyses, proactively diagnose root cause issues, translate data to drive insights, and preemptive recommendations
  • Lead in-depth analyses for strategic projects and solution development by collaborating with the broader team, to help deliver methodical, practical people insights across the organization
  • Use data-driven insights that influence business strategy and decision making
  • Own, run, and engage in key partner relationships across enterprise functions to partner on strategic and operational initiatives
  • Serve as a counselor and subject matter authority to senior partners regarding people analytics and strategy topics, as well as provide mentorship on how to work efficiently with people analytics capabilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of HRIS professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster their growth and development.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the HRIS team
  • You will be a hands-on, working manager performing impact analysis, configuration in the system, and cross training with team members

Workday-Specific Experience

  • Strong experience with Core HR, Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management, Benefits, Payroll configurations, with the ability to provide senior level configuration expertise
  • Proficient in Workday report writing.
  • Possess knowledge of security architecture, fields, domains, and data objects in Workday
  • Ability to develop and support integrations (EIB), for inbound and outbound data exchange between Workday and other internal/external systems (preferred)
  • Experienced in Workday compensation configurations, including the Advanced Comp Module

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience implementing and managing HR Systems
  • 4+ years hands-on experience configuring and/or implementing Workday HCM is required
  • 3+ years management experience, leading a team to implement systems solutions 
  • Experience in working with Workday on a global level.
  • Experience in business analysis and business process improvement, preferably in a global company
  • Proven experience managing stakeholders, leading projects, and designing and delivering complex solutions
  • Experience with analyzing, strategizing, project manage, and implement HRIS system solutions
  • Experience with other core HR systems, such as SAP SuccessFactor is a plus
  • Experience with general HR processes and data, HR systems design, structure, functions and processes
  • Broad knowledge in data analytics, basic statistics (e.g., mean/median/mode, variance, distributions, significance testing, etc.), and interpreting results from an HR-centric perspective
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple projects
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; ability to tailor communications depending on the audience
  • Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate and manage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, innovative person with analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and think outside the box
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or related field

We consider many different factors to determine your compensation package at Telesign. We assess your specific job family, level, relevant skills, experience, location and other special trainings, experiences, or accomplishments you bring to the position. Pay decisions are also guided by our financial means as well as analyzed against what others earn internally. We strive to pay competitively and offer market differentiated benefits and perquisites in line with our compensation philosophy. Telesign’s good faith estimate for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 + bonus + benefits. This range is a reflection of many similar like positions and your actual compensation may not be at the high or low end of the range but will be based on your unique skills and other criteria mentioned.
